Privacy Policy

How Cimarrone Private Limited collects, uses, and protects your information — written in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Last updated: 29 May 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes the practices of Cimarrone Private Limited (“Cimarrone”, “we”, “our”), a company incorporated in India, in relation to information collected through the website cimarrone.in.

2. Information we collect

We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. Specifically:

  • Information you provide through the contact form. When you fill out the form on our contact page and submit it, your email client opens with the message pre-filled. If you choose to send the email, we receive: your name, company name (optional), email address, and the contents of your message.
  • Server access logs. Our web host records standard server logs each time the site is accessed — this includes IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested, and timestamp. These logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes.
  • Local browser storage. We store one preference in your browser’s localStorage — whether you have chosen the light or dark theme. This value never leaves your browser and is not personal data.
  • Third-party fonts. Our pages load typography from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser makes a request to Google’s servers, which can see your IP address. Google’s use of this information is governed by their privacy policy.

We do not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics. We do not run any analytics or tag-management scripts.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above only to:

  • Respond to enquiries you send us through the contact form.
  • Maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the website.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information only:

  • With service providers strictly necessary to operate the website (for example, our web host).
  • When required by Indian law, by a regulatory authority, or by a court of competent jurisdiction.
  • If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case we will provide notice on this page before any personal data is transferred.

5. Retention

Emails you send us through the contact form are retained for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry, and for up to 24 months thereafter unless we are in an ongoing business relationship. Server access logs are retained for up to 90 days. You can request earlier deletion at any time — see “Your rights” below.

6. Your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

  • Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct any personal data that is inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading.
  • Erase personal data we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on your consent.
  • Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
  • Lodge a grievance with our designated officer (below), and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at info@cimarrone.in. We will respond within a reasonable period and, in any case, within the timelines required by law.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including TLS encryption for the website, access controls on our mailbox, and limiting data collection at source. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use your judgement when sharing sensitive information.

8. Children

Cimarrone’s services are intended for business audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. International transfers

Email infrastructure and third-party services (such as Google Fonts) may process data outside India. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers.
